Strategy for Modernising Learning Communities 2026-2035

Conwy’s Education Service is inviting views on its revised modernisation strategy.

The Strategy for Modernising Learning Communities 2026-2035 aims to make sure our school buildings and education facilities encourage learning and are healthy places to thrive.

The draft Strategy:

  • Describes our vision for learning for 2026-2035.
  • Explains why we need to continue modernising.
  • Explains the processes that must be followed for any changes.
  • Explains that any proposed changes will be discussed with communities.

Cllr Julie Fallon, Cabinet Member for Education said, “We want our school buildings, teaching resources and pupils’ learning experiences to be fit for the future. We need to build on past successes, address emerging challenges, and make the most of new opportunities.”

“I’d urge learners, parents, governors and other interested parties to get involved and let us know your views.”

The draft strategy and questionnaire is available on the Conwy website at: Strategy for Modernising Learning Communities - Conwy County Borough Council

If you’re not online you can get a paper copy from Coed Pella reception.

The consultation runs until 15th September 2025. The results will be presented to councillors later this year.
