Don’t miss the opportunity to apply for your 50% reduction off your 2022-23 Business Rates Bill


Your Business may have qualified for Retail, Leisure & Hospitality Rate Relief in the past and you may have noticed that this has not been allocated to your account in respect of the current 2022-23 financial year.

A leaflet was enclosed with your Annual Bill which outlined the changes made to Retail, Leisure & Hospitality Rate Relief which have taken place this year. You were advised that this year you would need to complete an application form in order to apply for this relief. (In the past, this relief was applied automatically to qualifying hereditaments).

Eligible occupied businesses will qualify for 50% rates relief in respect of the current 2022-23 financial year. However, please note that the amount of relief under the Welsh Government’s Retail, Leisure and Hospitality Rates Relief scheme will be capped at £110,000 per business across the whole of Wales.
