Conwy's Rapid Rehousing Transition Plan

Summary (optional)
Welsh Government’s vision is to make homelessness ‘rare, brief and unrepeated’. Conwy County Borough Council’s Rapid Rehousing Transition Plan sets out how the Council will work towards achieving this.

The Council’s Rapid Rehousing vision is as follows:

‘Key services deliver a coordinated approach to homelessness prevention activities to ensure homelessness in Conwy is rare. Where homelessness cannot be prevented, people can move into settled accommodation quickly and can access appropriate support, to ensure that homelessness is unrepeated.  If temporary accommodation is required it will be used for a short period only.’

Prevention of homelessness is the primary focus of the Plan. To achieve this, there is a need to change the way services are delivered. This plan outlines the changes that are required over the next five years and beyond.
