The Great Orme Victorian Tramway and Cable Car provide an unusual means of reaching the summit. There is also a local bus service to the Great Orme and regular coach trips around the scenic Marine Drive on the Great Orme Buses.

The most rewarding way to explore the Great Orme is on foot, as this allows plenty of time to appreciate the magnificent coastal scenery and wildlife. Click on the links below for information on the footpaths and waymarked trails on the Great Orme. Alternatively, guided walks can be arranged with the Country Park Wardens for groups of 10 or more.

The Country Park Visitor Centre at the summit of the Orme, is open 10am to 5:30pm Easter - October (5pm in April & October or in bad weather).

The Great Orme Copper Mines   (4000 years old and internationally acclaimed) are open daily from February to the end of October. Both are an excellent and entertaining way to learn more about this fascinating area.

The Summit Complex offers cafes, amusements and gift shops. After your visit why not let off steam in the Country Park Play Area where there are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the views with an outdoor picnic.

As its name suggests the Rest and Be Thankful Cafe provides a welcome break for those walking or driving around the Marine Drive Scenic Toll Road. There is also a Pitch and Putt Golf Course on the Great Orme. Why not try your hand at skiing or snowboarding whilst you are on the Great Orme?
