Coastal Defence Proposals at Towyn Revetment (by Golden Sands holiday park)

Cross Section of rock armour:
Towyn Revement Coastal Defence Proposals

  • Increase the existing rock armour
  • Raise the existing seawall, up to approximately 0.75m (2.5 feet) above the existing seawall

Adapting the existing rock armour, and reusing and repurposing material where possible, will minimise the economic and environmental costs of the new defence.
