Cross Section of rock armour:

- Increase the existing rock armour
- Raise the existing seawall, up to approximately 0.75m (2.5 feet) above the existing seawall
Adapting the existing rock armour, and reusing and repurposing material where possible, will minimise the economic and environmental costs of the new defence.

Public Space Proposals
- 2 new lounger seats and a pair of picnic tables at the eastern end of the Towyn Revetment. This will provide a lovely spot to rest or have a picnic overlooking Kinmel Beach.
- Widen the coastal path from Kinmel beach car park (at the end of St Asaph Avenue) to Golden Sands Holiday Park. The new coastal path to be 4.5m wide, and allow for cyclists, pedestrians and wheelchair users to enjoy this route.
- Kinmel Bay West parklet with space to rest and play:
- a small shelter
- cycle parking
- electric bicycle charging
- cycle repair station
- 2 lounge seats
- small piece of play equipment
