1. Help with finding a suitable site

Are you struggling to find a suitable location for your new or existing business? Whether you are looking for business units, office premises or land, the Business and Enterprise and Strategic Planning Policy (SPPS) Teams can assist. Simply read the attached Employment Land Protocol and Prospectus and follow the steps contained within.

2. Submit a site

Have you already got a site in mind but wondering if it is suitable in planning terms for the intended use?  By clicking on the link below you can submit your site to the SPPS Team who will be able to provide some basic advice on constraints or policies that apply to the site in question.

 

3. Pre-application Advice (charges apply for this service)

You have selected a site for your business, but you would like more detailed planning advice before putting in an application.   If so, you can contact the Development Management Team on regulatory.services@conwy.gov.uk and submit a Pre-application Enquiry

4. Viability and Planning obligations

If you are putting forward land for a housing development or a mixed use scheme, you may be uncertain about the levels of planning obligations that will be required and the overall viability of the scheme.  A Development Viability Service operates whereby SPPS can undertake a viability calculation which will show the likely planning obligation and affordable housing contributions required as part of a scheme.
