What they do:
Community Wellbeing - Provide early intervention and preventative services to keep people well, safe and independent in their own homes. Support people to access the right service for the needs they have at that time.
Quality Standards and Commissioning - Maintain a trained and skilled workforce within a service that complies with legal and Social Care standards. Ensure that the services we commission deliver quality and value for money. Work in partnership with providers.
Business, Performance & Finance - Provide administrative support to all Social Care and Education service areas and senior management. Collate, manage and report on departmental data. Manage and support business systems and records, departmental financial transactions and Freedom of Information requests. Responsibility for health and safety and buildings.
Disability - Provide support to any child or adult who has a disability, where the disability has a substantial and long-term effect on their ability to carry out day-to-day activities. We also provide support to parents and Carers.
Older People and Hospital Work - Provide community-based support for people over the age of 65 who may be struggling to live safely and independently, and have an assessed need for support.
