Religion, values and ethics (RVE) is a statutory requirement of the Curriculum for Wales and is mandatory for all learners aged 3 to 16 years. Previously known as Religious Education (RE), learners can explore the possible meaning of life and the values that develop from belief. RVE is delivered within the context of Humanities, acknowledging the importance of geographical, historical and economic factors in the formation of belief systems.
