The final approval of grant applications will be subject to Conwy Regeneration Key Fund receiving approval from the managing authority for the UKSPF funds.
The Conwy Community Regeneration Key Fund would give groups the opportunity to apply for capital and revenue funding for projects that support the regeneration of their communities in Conwy.
Being ever hopeful, and in advance of approval, we’re sharing a brief insight of what applicants need to know:
- Applicants could apply for a minimum of £10,000 and maximum of up to £75,000 for larger scale projects which could involve improvements to community assets or other larger scale projects. It’s likely some match funding would be required.
- Town and Community Councils within Conwy County could also access a ring-fenced amount for smaller projects of up to £10,000. These would need to be projects that would make a visible difference in their local area.
- All applications would be assessed on a case-by-case basis and the funding will be highly competitive.
- Projects would need to be delivered and complete by early 2026.
- Successful applicants would be responsible for delivering their proposed projects plus complete regular progress and monitoring reports to ensure spend and timescales are achieved in the timeframe of the UKSPF funding.
As soon as we know if our Community Regeneration Key Fund application has been successful we’ll share further information on process and timelines.
