At the end of an interview, the recruiting manager will inform you on the timescales for letting candidates know whether they have been successful or unsuccessful. This will typically be on the same day, but sometime will carry over into the following day / week depending on the number of interviews being held.
The recruiting manager will call you to provide the outcome and feedback on how the interview went. Feedback provided will allow you to understand what went well, and identify areas that need to be worked on.
For further information see our New starters pages.
Safeguarding
We believe that every child and adult has a right to be safe from harm. Safeguarding is everybody's business within the Council.
We will carry out pre-employment checks on eligible staff, volunteers and others who undertake work on behalf of the Council as part of the recruitment procedures. Further information is available in our Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Policy.
